My Pretty Sweetheart novel Chapter 541

I was amused by his comment. "I am only twenty-six. Does it mean I can start splurging and waste my life?"

"Of course, you can spend millions every day from Reid Family's business and my properties. There's plenty of money for you to throw around as you please."

I smiled and said, "Anne is probably the most blessed child in the world. Her grandfather and uncle have paved the way for her future as she was born."

Then, he raised his eyebrows, "Of course, she is my niece!" Aaron looked at me and asked in a more serious tone, "Don't you want your own child?"

I was stunned for a moment, and then I clenched my fists tightly. I didn't know what to say.

I took a deep breath before answering him, "We'll see!" It was a painful experience. When my child passed, I didn't want to have another one. That one time had caused me enough pain to last a lifetime.

"With Anne around, it doesn't matter whether you want a child in the future."

I nodded and felt a pain in my chest. Frankly, I have become increasingly restless recently.

Truly, sometimes I do not know how to control my own emotions and feelings.

We stopped at one of the restaurants in the city and a valet came forward to park the car for us.

Aaron threw the car key at the valet and brought me directly into the restaurant. His handsome features were definitely a boon in skipping the queue.

People were looking at us as we entered the restaurant and we heard whispers from time to time.

Nevertheless, it made Aaron sulky. He pulled me into one of the private rooms and ordered some food before he looked at me and said, "You have lost a lot of weight breastfeeding Anne recently. Let's have something good to eat this time."

I smiled, but I could not hide the pressure I felt. Obviously, I heard the whispers when I came into the restaurant.

Those people were not looking at Aaron but me. I seemed to have forgotten that Hendrix was a young and famous entrepreneur in Ucrebury. The news about his wife committing adultery still lingers.
