My Pretty Sweetheart novel Chapter 630

"I have always wanted to study to be a lawyer at Jarold University. However, my college entrance examination results were not so great, so I stayed in the University of Ucrebury. Now that I have time, I'm thinking of applying for the postgraduate program at Jarold University and continue to study." This was a dream that I had since young. It would be a great blessing for me if i could pick it up again at the age of 30.

He nodded as he raised the corners of his mouth and said, "Well, do you need to apply for the training class? I'll have Evan arrange for it."

I chuckled as I glanced up at him and said, "Don't you feel that you are raising two daughters?"

He broke into laughter and said, "It would be the greatest blessing in my life. To be able to bring you back and let you do whatever you like, it's worth it."

As I leaned against his chest and listened to his heartbeat, I felt relaxed. The future was a long journey filled with uncertainties. It's great to be able to live in the moment.

In September, it was not too cold in Jarold City. It was warm enough and the lights in the bedroom were dim. If one slept too long during the day, they wouldn't be able to fall asleep at night.

Hendrix seemed busy since he had been handling documents in the study. I got up from bed in the middle of the night to drink some water. When I saw that the lights in the study were still on, I poured a glass of water and knocked on the door.

In the study, the computer was off, and the documents on the table were neatly arranged. It seemed that his work was done.

He was leaning on the chair, resting with his eyes closed. He opened his eyes when he heard movement. Both of his eyes were as dark as the night. He asked, "Couldn't sleep?"

I nodded, placing the glass of water in front of him. Leaning against the office table, I looked at him and said, "It's getting late. You should get some rest if you're done with work."

As he grew older, it wouldn't be good for him to stay up at night.

He narrowed his eyes slightly while grinning and said, "Are you inviting me?"

I didn't understand what he meant until much later. My face burned red. I simply said, "Get some rest!"

Standing up, I wanted to go back to the room. From Hovell to Jarold City, he had been gentlemanly all this time, and did not cross the line.

If it weren't for his darkened gaze at this moment, I would have forgotten all these things.
