My Pretty Sweetheart novel Chapter 679

After a slight pause, she continued, "Moreover, you do actually have to think for Mr. Roberts and for yourself. If one day Anne were to really return to the Saunders family, it won't be as easy for you and Hendrix to have children when both of you are older. Why not have children while you still have the ability to? Although Anne is still young, I'm sure she would be understanding of the both of you."

Her words hit me like a truck because she was right - even if I didn't think for myself, I had to be thoughtful towards Hendrix.

He was almost in his mid-thirties now - a good age to want to have kids. If he only wanted to have children after Anne grows up, it would probably be very difficult by then.

Seeing me zone out, she patted my hand and comforted me, saying, "Don't overthink this though, this is just my two cents. Everyone has their own priorities in life, but you should still have a backup plan no matter what."

We walked into the yard and found a place to sit. I suddenly thought of her situation with Aaron. "Have you and Aaron planned on when to get your marriage certificate?"

If they didn't obtain a marriage certificate, what would happen to the child's registration of residence and birth certificate?

Even though Aaron had his ways, and he just needed to pay a little more to get things done, it would still be unfair for Yana to have this happen.

She hesitated for a bit, startled by my abrupt question. Then, she said with a forlorn smile, "For me to be able to give birth to his child is already an immense privilege. I don't have the right to be married to him yet."

I frowned unhappily. "What are you talking about? Why are you degrading yourself like this? You love him and would have to bear a child for him, so the Reid family should rightfully let you join the family. You're too submissive, you must think for your child!"

She smiled weakly. "Arianna, our situations differ. If I grew up an orphan with a squeaky clean background, regardless of how tough life was, I wouldn't be as lowly and pathetic as I am."
