My Pretty Sweetheart novel Chapter 700

I fought back the urge to hit him, as I held back my anger. I decided not to say a word to him. I casted him a glance before pulling Hendrix away.

When we got out of the hospital, I was still a little angry. Hendrix saw that I had not spoken, so he paused and asked, "Would you like to vent your anger by hitting me?"

I looked up at him. His eyes were deep and calming . I lifted my arm and smoothed his sleeve that was slightly wrinkled after getting dragged by me.

"I'm fine. I'm not that angry!"

He laughed and led me into the car. After he buckled my seat belt, he kissed me on the forehead, "You're so cute when you're furious!"

Cute?

I was not sure whether the word 'cute' was used appropriately here.

Since it was already so late in the night, I fell asleep while I was still in the car.

When I woke up the next day, I was already in my bed at the villa.

Hendrix was eating breakfast downstairs, and Evan came early. When he saw me coming down, he nodded and smiled to greet me.

I was stunned when I found out that Anne was not there. I mumbled, "Anne isn't up yet?" That little fellow had to go to school. There was no way that she had not gotten up yet!

"The driver had just sent her to school," Evan explained.

That was early. Hendrix poured me a bowl of porridge and pushed it towards me, saying, "Come to the company with me later."

Looking at him, I did not understand what he meant, "I'm going to see Yana."

Although Charles had arranged for someone to stay on guard last night and Aaron was also there, I still needed to go take a look.

He put down the newspaper in his hand, his eyes were deep, and his voice muted, "You might not need to anymore."

I raised my eyes to look at him, seeing his blank expression.
