"I just don't want him to regret it," I muttered as Freya held me down to my seat. I kept looking at the two hugging bodies on the first floor.
Freya pursed his lips, "I think you should be thinking about Yana right now. Previously, you've thought of leaving because of Hendrix and Andrea. And when you found out that he set you up, you just left without a word."
"Yana is also a woman. Once she has been disappointed enough, she will probably leave with the baby without another word. When that happens, Charles will be the one panicking, not Aaron. The child is a Reid after all."
I nodded, "That's why I wanted to remind Aaron that he should know his place."
"Why should you remind him?" She sneered, "I think you should focus on building rapport with Yana. If she decides to leave one day, you can help her. All you need to know now is that the child is there, and just let this douchebag be separated from his son and wife for a few years to torture him," she said through gnashed teeth, as if she was the one who was wronged.
I withdrew my gaze and looked at her. I narrowed my eyes and asked, "Are you planning on doing the same thing?"
She raised her eyebrows. "If that stupid man, Zachary, does not give in to my way, I'll run away with the child. I have plenty of money anyway. It shouldn't be that hard raising a child!"
I shrugged and gave her a thumbs-up. The two people downstairs were about to leave.
I got up and hurried downstairs.
"Aaron, where are you going tonight?" I heard Eunice asked with that annoying voice of hers.
Perhaps only men liked the way she talked. Other women would be disgusted by it.
I walked forward and gave Eunice a nice shove, who had been holding Aaron's hand.
"Who are you..." Eunice was about to unleash her anger on me but stopped when she saw me. She smiled instead, and said, "Miss Reid, what a coincidence!"
I nodded and looked up at Aaron's handsome face with a faint smile, "Aaron, let's have a drink?"
Aaron pursed his lips and nodded. I immediately dragged him upstairs.
