Hendrix hummed a response and did not continue the conversation. Instead, he looked at me seriously and asked, "Aren't you jealous about what happened just now?"
I was taken aback and failed to react. What did he just say? But when I saw him staring straight at me, I reacted.
"I can understand. No matter how strong Rowane is, she's still a woman. Encountering that kind of situation, she was probably scared to death. When she came to her senses, it was inevitable that she would lose control when she saw you. It's nothing. Anyone would do the same."
When I noticed that Hendrix's mood was off, I was stunned. I looked at him and saw that his expression was gloomy. I could not help but ask, "What's wrong?"
"It's nothing!" He replied coldly with only two simple words.
I was a little stupefied. He was asking me nicely just now, why was he so cold all of a sudden?
I did not know what he was angry about, so I did not speak anymore.
The driver stopped the car outside the villa. Hendrix went straight in as soon as the car stopped.
It appeared that he had no intention of waiting for me at all. I caught up and saw him entering the bedroom.
It was getting late. Since Anne went to Hanlusia City and Fiona did not stay here at night, the villa was a little empty; it felt a little deserted.
When I saw Hendrix going straight into the bedroom, I followed him.
"Hen-" Before I could finish my words, he threw his coat on the bed and went straight into the bathroom.
"Bang!" The bathroom door was slammed so hard the sound was loud and clear.
I was speechless. I could only go to the closet to look for pajamas. We came out at the same time.
There was a bath towel wrapped around his muscular body. The man just gave me a cold and stern glance and staggered away.
Then, he went straight to the study with a towel.
