He smiled and put the bowl aside, his eyes quietly falling on me. "Do you regret choosing Hendrix?"
I was startled by his question. I couldn't find a way to switch topics. So, I got up and asked, "There's more in the kitchen. Would you like more?"
He narrowed his eyes, shook his head slightly, and didn't ask anymore.
His question left me in a daze when I returned to my bedroom. Did I regret marrying Hendrix?
Not even once!
Midnight came.
There was loud thunder outside, and it started to pour heavily. I was wondering if the windows in Sebastian's room were closed, as he was still injured.
I got up and went to take a look. No one answered the door after I knocked on it a few times, but I heard the sound of something crashing on the ground from inside.
Startled by the sound, I pushed the door open and walked in. Sebastian was not lying in bed. The bedside light was on, and there was a sound coming from the bathroom.
I looked over and saw that the light inside was on. I involuntarily let out a sigh of relief. Then, I walked to the bathroom, raised my hand, and knocked on the door a few times. "Mr. Milton, are you all right?"
I was a little worried when he did not answer. I could not help but ask, "Mr. Milton, are you..."
"I m fine!" He finally replied, his voice somewhat weak.
I was really worried, so I tried to open the door but it was locked. I had no choice but to wait for him outside.
After a long time, he came out of the bathroom, wrapped in a towel. It seemed that he had been taking a shower.
