"But it’s also impossible for him to be resurrected now!”
"Can you say everything at once?" Nash complained. His mind was in turmoil, and it felt like he was riding a roller coaster.
Ditto cleared her throat and continued, "The opening of Immortal Falls indicates that whatever backup the 12 main Norse gods left behind has found the Compass of Destiny. This is the beginning of their resurrection.
"My master has long discerned that the Norse Pantheon will rise again within a thousand years after the opening of Immortal Falls.”
Nash’s eyes narrowed. "What about our Ancient Immortals from the East?"
Ditto sighed. "They likely left backups of their own as well, but I reckon not many. The number of people who can be resurrected is limited!"
At this point, Ditto floated before Nash and stared intently into his eyes with her jet-black pair.
Nash's heart tightened. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
"I sensed the Celestial Maiden’s aura on you. Have you met the Celestial Maiden? Did you have intimate contact with her?"
"The Celestial Maiden?" Nash's pupils slightly contracted. Lana was the reincarnation of the Celestial Maiden? He was a Path taker, so of course, he knew of the Celestial Maiden. She was Emperor Terra’s teacher and the supreme god in the Path mythological system.
Damn it, did he actually sleep with the Celestial Maiden?
Ditto’s eyes narrowed. "You didn't sleep with her, did you?"
Nash scratched his head as embarrassment came over him. "I got into a bit of a conflict with her. I was worried she might harm me, so I made her my woman.”
Ditto suddenly headbutted Nash's face. "You jerk!"
She was like cotton, however, so Nash did not feel any pain.
