There were two possibilities.
The first was that Benedict had extremely powerful figures backing him up. The other was that he was just extremely skilled.
In terms of supporting figures behind the scenes, Elistan had no fear. He doubted that the worldly forces would have anything that could shock the secular sects.
In terms of his skills, no matter how talented Benedict was, there was no way he could have achieved the Profound Oriental Realm at his current age.
“Why aren’t you saying anything? Are you scared?”
Benedict scoffed, the look of disdain evident in his eyes.
Laverne lost her temper before Elistan managed to. She furrowed her elegant eyebrows together as she said, “Hurry up and say yes, Elistan. Are you going to allow the secular sects to look down on us like this?”
Ethel hurriedly chimed in, “That’s right, Elistan. You know, the Zen Heart Sect is a second-tier sect. You might not care about honor, but we do!”
Maggie curled her hands into fists as she urged Elistan on. “You can do it, Elistan. Beat him up so bad that he’ll spend his time picking his teeth up from the ground!”
Elistan grimaced but had no other choice but to say, “Fine, let’s fight. But some ground rules. If I accidentally kill or injure you, your seniors who have already achieved peak Mystique Loyalty Realm are not allowed to attack me!”
He had always been secure in his position and would never have decided to challenge Benedict, whom he could not read like an open book. He only agreed because of the three gorgeous girls watching him.
Benedict said confidently, “Don’t worry, they won’t get involved!”
When he finished speaking, he strode toward an open area.
Elistan tapped his feet together and teleported himself over to stand in front of Benedict.
Elistan retrieved his saber without a moment’s hesitation. The light refracted off of it, giving it a menacing look. A frosty expression appeared on his face. His charisma and good-looking features made him seem extremely handsome.
“Oh my god, he looks so good!” Maggie’s eyes sparkled.
Elistan asked coolly, “Where’s your weapon?”
“Cut the crap and launch your attack!” Benedict said impatiently.
At that, Elistan did not bother saying anything else. He channeled his spiritual energy into the saber, which immediately began humming. With a gentle shake of his wrist, he took a step forward and drove his saber toward Benedict’s chest in an elegant manner.
