Maggie was the apple of everyone’s eye at the Misty Templar Court. The disciples of Misty Templar Court always did everything they could to meet her requests.
Last night, Maggie was unable to sleep because of all the mosquitoes. All she wanted was a tent to shield her from the mosquitoes. Was that really such an unreasonable demand?
June stopped in her tracks, a slight smile appearing on her face as she turned to look at Laverne.
Laverne huffed, “Let’s get this straight, no using concealed weapons!”
There was no way a Profound Reality Realm expert could not defeat a Mystique Loyalty Realm expert in a one-on-one fight. That woman definitely had tricks up her sleeve if she was acting this confident.
Prevention was always better than cure, and it never hurt to be careful.
June said calmly, “Don’t worry, I won’t use any concealed weapons!”
It was only then that Laverne unsheathed her saber and pointed it at June. “In that case, you can strike!”
June showed a brilliant smile as she took a quick step forward, where she immediately vanished into thin air.
Disappearing without a trace?
Laverne’s eyes widened.
She had only seen the leader of the court do something like this before, and that had happened because the court leader moved so quickly it was difficult for the naked eye to discern the leader's movements.
Despite that, Laverne's Profound Reality Realm skills meant she could still use her spiritual power to capture the court leader’s movements.
Yet, she was unable to use her spiritual power to detect this woman’s movements.
What was going on?
Right then, Laverne got slapped across the face.
The power of a practitioner at the Mystique Loyalty Realm did not cause Laverne much harm, but she had still gotten slapped across the face hard.
"How dare you slap me in the face?!” Laverne grabbed her saber and slashed it through the air.
June crossed her arms over her chest and watched as Laverne lost her mind. She had a mocking look in her eyes.
“Come out from wherever you are!” Laverne shouted in fury.
June slapped Laverne again. This time, on the other side of her face.
