Abandoned by All I Took It All Back novel Chapter 306

He racked his brain but couldn't think of a single reason why he would have offended Clark. The last time they’d seen each other was months ago, and there had been plenty of other people around.

Then, a possibility struck West. Could this be about Marjorie?

Of course, it was.

The next second, Clark let out a cold laugh.

"Hah, a reason? I'll give you a reason."

He pulled his phone from his pocket, brought up a few photos, and showed them to the others before shoving the screen in West's face.

West looked down. The pictures were of pages from Marjorie's notebook, filled with memories of him and confessions of her feelings.

The dates were all from the last few months.

There was even a photo taken a few days ago of Marjorie watching him from a distance as he walked through her neighborhood.

West felt a surge of helpless frustration. What was this? He was being dragged into a mess he had nothing to do with.

He was about to speak when Fairchild, who was watching the show with interest, chimed in with a dismissive tone.

"Why are you bothering West? Don't you think he feels just as wronged being harassed by a woman like that? You should be talking to your girlfriend. This is her problem."

He shot Clark a look that clearly said, *you idiot*.

Clark's face turned beet red. Deep down, he knew Fairchild was right, but he couldn't bring himself to admit that Marjorie's affections had shifted.

He might have his own flings on the side and not care too much about one woman, but how dare Marjorie cheat on *him*?

Ignoring Fairchild, Clark turned his glare back to West, his anger intensifying.
