Abandoned by All I Took It All Back novel Chapter 481

After dinner, everyone went outside to set off fireworks.

The atmosphere was electric.

Janina shared videos and photos in the family group chat and 'The Graces' chat.

Wrapping a scarf around her neck, she stepped into the yard and looked up at the sky, now filled with brilliant bursts of light. A cluster of fireworks shot up from the neighboring yard, exploding in a dazzling shower of golden sparks that rained down from above.

The night sky was ignited by the colorful display. Countless bright points of light bloomed against the dark canvas, like stars falling to earth, a breathtakingly beautiful sight.

She was lost in the moment.

Suddenly, she heard her eldest brother Easton’s deep voice coming from behind the house.

Curious, she followed the sound, passed through a small gate, and saw a comical sight—her other brothers, West, Sutton, Nolan, along with Seven and Natalie, were huddled together, their heads stacked like they were in a rugby scrum. They were crouched sneakily behind a corner of the wall, ears perked, eavesdropping on something.

Before Janina could figure out what was happening, the quick-reacting West had already pulled her over.

He motioned for her to join them in hiding and listening, putting a finger to his lips in a shushing gesture.

Her brothers all pointed towards the other side of the yard wall, their eyes gleaming with excitement and gossip.

Janina peeked her head out.

Under the brilliant, exploding fireworks, Easton and Summer were standing face to face.

Easton stood as tall and straight as a pine tree, the fireworks illuminating his broad shoulders. At thirty-one, he had a strong, rugged profile. His usually calm and steady demeanor was gone; his entire body was tense.

His gaze was fixed on Summer, whose face was half-hidden by her scarf.

His lips twitched, and his Adam's apple bobbed as he struggled with his words.

Janina whispered, “Whoa, is Easton about to confess?”

“Definitely,” West replied. “What kind of romantic lines do you think he’ll use?”
