Aurora Walton and Lucas Carter novel Chapter 1651

“How did I raise such a deceitful daughter after all these years?”

Yvonne asked in confusion. “Dad, what do you mean by that?”

Her heart began to race in panic.

Clearly, Lucas must have told her father something.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t question her like this.

Yvonne knew her father’s temperament all too well, which only made her more certain Lucas had spoken to him.

Sure enough, Charles snapped angrily, “How much longer are you planning to hide this from me? Lucas already told me everything.”

His tone grew harsher as he continued, “I’m warning you—go back abroad right now! Don’t stay here any longer and make a fool of yourself.”

“I won’t!” Yvonne’s voice rose in defiance.

“When did you become like this?” Charles shouted back, his tone sharp and unyielding. “I’m telling you, there’s no room for discussion. You’re leaving, and that’s final.”

“Impossible! I’m not going anywhere!”

Her voice grew louder, filled with determination.

Once Yvonne made up her mind, nothing could shake her.

Yvonne was every bit as stubborn as Charles, and no one knew that better than he did.

But he had made the decision, and he would never allow Yvonne to defy him.

“I told you already—this isn’t up for discussion. You need to come back right now.”
