“That’s just what you think. Don’t force your ideas on me.”
“Still denying it? Have you ever stopped to think that Terence has already been kicked out of the Lockwood family? No matter how much you do, you’ll end up with nothing. No, that’s not right. You’ll end up with a broken piece of trash and a mute.”
Victoria smirked triumphantly. “Natalie, your pathetic little scheme has blown up in your face. Terence has been pushed out of the Lockwood Group. The new heir, Simon, is about to officially take over as president. Terence is a nobody now, just a pitiful has-been and yet you’re still treating him like some kind of treasure! You’re even willing to wrong your own son for him. You’re pathetic!”
Natalie couldn’t stand hearing Victoria call him a cripple over and over again.
It was her own failure, her inability to heal his leg.
Natalie’s voice was cold. “Are you trying to get Terence to put a bullet in you? I can go get him for you right now!”
At the mention of this, Victoria immediately recalled Terence shooting at her and quickly shut her mouth.
She said nervously, “Natalie, this has nothing to do with Terence. I’m here to see you today.”
“Is that so? I heard you mention Terence so many times, I thought you wanted one of his bullets to cure whatever’s been clogging up your brain for the last ten years!”
Victoria’s face darkened. She knew Natalie was mocking her.
