Caught Him Cheating My Life Restarted (Natalie) novel Chapter 807

The waitress was so intimidated by Victoria she was speechless. Natalie stepped forward and said, “You can go back.”

Natalie fixed her gaze on Victoria. “You can eat what you want, but you can’t just say what you want. We just opened today. Are you suggesting we deliberately let our chicken spoil before cooking it for our customers?”

Natalie’s words made Victoria pause for a second.

“So what if it’s your grand opening?” she retorted. “You must have bought cheap, low-quality, spoiled ingredients to serve your customers. You’re just using opening-day discounts to lure people in. You’re absolutely depraved!”

Natalie’s eyes turned icy. She pointed to the television behind Victoria.

“Why don’t you look behind you? That’s a video of us purchasing our ingredients this morning. You can also see into the kitchen from here. Oh, and as it happens, our chef is cutting a chicken right now. I’ll have him bring it over so you can see for yourself if it’s spoiled.”

Victoria was stunned. She had never seen a restaurant that was bold enough to show its kitchen to the public, let alone a video of its ingredient sourcing.

Natalie said to a waiter, “Go get the chicken that’s being cut right now and bring it to our troublemaking customer here so she can have a look.”

The waiter went to the kitchen. On the monitor, they could see him speak to the chef, who then quickly placed the chicken on a plate and brought it out. Moments later, it was in front of Victoria. “Take a look,” Natalie said. “Is it spoiled?”

Victoria's face turned pale. She had only wanted to smear Natalie’s reputation.

She never imagined they would have their entire kitchen on display.

Victoria remained silent. Just then, another customer leaned in. “This chicken is perfectly fresh. Sometimes I can’t get to the market until after six, and the chicken I buy is never this fresh.”
