Crowned by the Man They Feared (Amelia and Jeremy) novel Chapter 629

When they thought back on all those years, how they poured every ounce of care into that fake Gianna, every birthday only reminded them of that woman and made their anger flare all over again.

They had countless chances to cherish their real sister, yet they were foolish enough to fall straight into Gianna's scheme and let her toy with them like fools.

The more they reflected on it, the stronger the urge to smash something became.

With Amelia's birthday approaching fast, they decided to visit Jeremy and discuss their sister's birthday plans.

First, it gave them a reason to talk with him. Second, it proved they were genuinely trying to make amends.

They never expected this man to care so deeply about their sister's birthday. It was obvious he already had arrangements in mind.

They once believed this rich, powerful, good looking man was only passing time with Amelia.

They assumed he would lose interest sooner or later and walk away.

In the end, it turned out they were shallow and blind.

Mr. Curran's feelings for their sister were anything but shallow.

Anyone could see that both of them were fully committed.

"Good. You seem sincere—now prove it on Amelia's birthday."

Jeremy originally planned to take full charge of Amelia's birthday himself, but seeing how earnest the three brothers were, he did not mind letting them participate.

Amelia disliked them and wanted nothing to do with the Nygard brothers for a long time.

Yet almost every night, he saw her flipping through the notebook Raymond left behind.

He knew she missed her father, could not let go, and carried a trace of regret.

Even if she showed no affection or reconciliation toward the Nygard brothers now, they were still bound by blood.

As long as it had not completely fallen apart, maybe the bond was not beyond repair.

Of course, he would never force Amelia into something she disliked.

If she did not oppose it, he would help those fools quietly behind the scenes.

If she showed resistance, then even if they begged on their knees, he would not give them a second look.

So everything depended on Amelia's attitude.

"No problem."

The three Nygard brothers patted their chests, acting like everything was settled.

Whether their sister accepted their involvement or not, they planned to carry it through.

They talked for a bit longer, shared a few drinks, and finally understood the cue to leave.

Since things with their sister were still strained, they did not dare stay longer.

The more he smiled, the brighter it became, almost too pleased, which left Harrison confused. "Why are you smiling like that?"

It looked unsettling.

"Nothing. Look over there. That woman looks familiar. I think she is your blind date."

Jeremy tipped his chin, and Harrison followed his line of sight.

Sure enough, a familiar figure appeared.

She wore a pale pink dress, holding a glass while chatting with several young men. Her profile matched that woman exactly.

There was no need to double check. One glance told him it was Josie.

Harrison's brow twitched slightly, emotion flashing briefly in his eyes.

"What is she doing here?"

Jeremy watched with amusement and lowered his voice as he laughed. "Who knows? Maybe she came to make connections. Or maybe she came for you."

"After all, Harrison attracts socialites like honey." He stretched the words, clearly teasing.

Harrison shot him a sideways look. "Stop enjoying yourself."

"Alright, I'm heading out. Amelia should be done by now. I'm going home to be with her. You guys stay. I'll go ahead."
