After their heated encounter, Landon Hart held a half-naked Nancy Grover in his arms and pointed at the television, where Andres White and Maeve Vance were chatting happily.
"Do you hate them?" he asked.
Nancy nodded, her expression numb. "I hate them."
Landon pressed a kiss to her cheek.
"Do you want revenge?"
"Yes," Nancy replied.
"How exactly do you want to get back at them?" Landon asked.
Nancy gritted her teeth. "I want to send them all straight to hell."
Landon let out a low chuckle.
"What a coincidence. We are completely on the same page about that."
Inside the Bright family villa, Benjamin Bright lay flat on the living room sofa, letting Maeve press a stethoscope all over his chest.
As soon as Maeve pulled the stethoscope away, Benjamin asked impatiently, "Well? How is it?"
Maeve played coy. "What do you think?"
Benjamin sat up and clutched his chest.
"Just give it to me straight. Stop trying to scare me. Tell me the compatibility is good."
"How do you feel?" Maeve countered.
Benjamin answered honestly. "Honestly, it feels way better than the last heart."
Because he was still in recovery, he didn't dare smoke, drink, or engage in any strenuous physical activity. He was living like an elderly man every single day.
Maeve decided to stop keeping him in suspense.
"As long as you take your medication on time, get plenty of rest, and maintain good habits, I guarantee you'll be back to a normal life in a year."
Benjamin's face lit up with absolute joy.
"Maeve, seriously, thank you so much for this."
Daisy Duke walked over carrying a platter of fruit.
