Divorce Failed My Wife's Secret Identities Shock the World novel Chapter 1152

"Since you treat me like a sister, why did you call me an evil demon?" Maeve asked.

Benjamin looked deeply wronged. "I was just at a loss for words. What I meant was, marriage should be left up to the parents. Daisy's family hasn't said a word, so why are you rushing things? Right, Daisy?"

Even though Daisy was extremely resistant to the idea of blind dates, she couldn't bring herself to refuse since Maeve was the one suggesting it.

After all, Maeve held the highest position of respect in her heart.

"I'll listen to Maeve," Daisy said softly.

Benjamin jumped to his feet in anger, glaring down at Daisy.

"Listen to my ass! Have you forgotten whose woman you are now?"

When Daisy had nowhere left to hide, Benjamin yanked her to his side and declared self-righteously to Maeve, "We're already together."

Daisy waved her hands frantically, trying to tell Maeve it wasn't true.

But Benjamin leaned in and kissed her right on the lips, right in front of Maeve.

Maeve crossed her arms over her chest and watched the two of them.

"If I hadn't pushed you into breaking the ice, when exactly were you planning to tell me you were dating?"

Daisy's face burned a deep shade of crimson.

"Maeve, you really misunderstood."

Benjamin pulled Daisy behind him and told Maeve, "We are officially together."

"With marriage in mind?" Maeve asked.

"What else would it be?" Benjamin shot back.

"As a top-tier jerk, is there a single ounce of credibility in anything you say?" Maeve asked drily.

Benjamin pointed at his own nose. "A jerk? Me?"

"Are you brave enough to say you haven't been a jerk in the past?" Maeve challenged.

Before Benjamin could argue further, Daisy finally snapped out of her shock.
