Divorce Failed My Wife's Secret Identities Shock the World novel Chapter 12

A seller account that had been lurking for a few minutes finally typed: "How do you figure it out?"

Maeve replied, "Video call. I read your face—like a reading"

Someone else asked, "If you're wrong, do we get a refund?"

Maeve said, "No refunds."

A long string of exclamation marks followed—classic someone-who-thinks-it's-all-a-con.

But the room was picking up. The viewer count climbed to fifteen.

A few loudmouths started heckling, saying she wouldn't show her face because she was obviously a fraud.

Then someone sent a huge virtual gift—one of the pricey jet effects.

The sender's username was [Lily].

Maeve immediately sent a video invite.

A girl in her twenties appeared on screen. Hair in a messy bun, sweet face, the kind of pretty that looked effortless.

Maeve laid out the rules. "Career, love, or money. Pick one."

Chat exploded.

"Two hundred for one question? That's robbery."

"Go to Spirit Caller's room—he only charges fifty."

"Spirit Caller is really poaching viewers in a newbie stream now?"

Maeve ignored them all.

Lily said, "Love. When is my boyfriend going to propose?"

Maeve studied her for a beat. "Your real relationship doesn't arrive until you're thirty-two. You haven't met him yet."

Lily's smile cracked. "That's ridiculous. I've been with my boyfriend almost two years. My family even helped him get his job."

Maeve didn't soften it. "Girl, you found yourself a social-climbing cheater."

Lily's face flushed. "You're talking nonsense. He works harder than anyone. He promised me the most romantic wedding."

Maeve gave a small, humorless laugh. "Don't hang up. Take your phone downstairs. Walk out, turn left. Building Two in your complex—seventh floor, unit 701. Knock."
