Divorce Failed My Wife's Secret Identities Shock the World novel Chapter 484

In Aethelburg, crossing the CEO of the Orca Group was a death sentence. He had to fix this before his entire family was ruined. His frantic pleas were met only by the sight of Andres and Maeve walking out the door.

His knees throbbed with too much pain for him to chase after them. Desperate, he turned pleading eyes toward Benjamin. "Mr. Bright, this is all a massive misunderstanding! I swear I didn't know Miss Vance was an old friend of yours!"

Benjamin was a far more terrifying entity than Andres. Even though the Ashford family had actively tried to align themselves with Spark Industries, Benjamin could crush them just for the sheer entertainment of it.

Benjamin flashed him a cruel, razor-sharp smile. "Even if I let you off the hook, the White family never will. I've said it a million times—I only partner with people who have functioning brains. If you want to run in my circles, you play by my rules. Dealing with morons just ruins my aesthetic."

Benjamin flicked his wrist in a dismissive gesture. "Toss the trash."

Immediately, a team of highly trained security guards emerged from the shadows. To the horror of the onlookers, the guards dragged Bowen by his collar and hurled him out of Room 1919 like a stray mutt.

Bowen Ashford had managed to spectacularly alienate the two most powerful titans in Aethelburg on the exact same night. As the crowd watched the heavy doors swing shut, they all shared the exact same thought: The Ashford family was completely and utterly finished.

The moment they stepped out of the club, the cool facade melted from Andres's face, leaving behind a heavy somberness. A bitter taste lingered in his mouth. He was trying so desperately to integrate into Maeve's world, yet he constantly felt like she was keeping him locked out.

Maeve's sharp instincts immediately picked up on his shift in mood. "Are you mad?" she asked.

"Try trusting me, Whitty. It'll do wonders for your blood pressure." Pausing for a second, she relented and offered an explanation. "Benjamin is the older brother of a friend. We've known each other since we were kids. He might be a ruthless bastard, but he'd never lay a hand on me."

She leaned in a little closer. "I know you two are out for blood in the corporate world. Honestly, I probably hate him more than you do. Don't pull your punches in business just because we share some history. A snake like Benjamin will use any dirty trick to get what he wants. Crush him."

Hearing those words dissolved the dark cloud hanging over Andres's head. Maeve slipped her arm through his, stifling a small yawn as she murmured against his shoulder, "It's been a long day, Hubby. I'm exhausted. Take me home."

That single word—Hubby—swept away the last traces of his frustration. A rush of pure affection filled his chest as he scooped her up into his arms, carrying her effortlessly. "Alright," he said, his voice dropping into a husky purr. "Let's go home."
