Divorce Failed My Wife's Secret Identities Shock the World novel Chapter 519

Andres conveniently left out the part where he had viciously chewed out Simon over the phone.

Maeve had gone to that birthday party representing Lab C.

If anything had happened to her, Lab C would have borne the full brunt of his wrath.

His fury was entirely justified.

Maeve only had a seven-day contract with them. Playing courier for an executive's gift was well below her pay grade.

Andres frowned, disliking how fast she moved. Although her eyes were clear, she still looked a bit too pale.

"You need to eat something, Maeve. I'll have Ella bring up some breakfast."

Maeve grabbed his sleeve, refusing to let him up.

"Finish the story first. Why the hell is he in a psychiatric hospital?"

Andres sighed, finding the whole situation slightly ridiculous himself.

"Are you really surprised he lost his mind after what you put him through?"

Last night, Murray had stayed behind with a cleanup crew to handle the fallout.

His original plan had been to wait for Donovan to wake up and then beat him within an inch of his life.

Except, when Donovan finally regained consciousness, his mind was completely gone.

He was delirious, violently shaking, and constantly mumbling, "Don't hit me... I don't know anything..."
