"That's impossible!"
"I can give you the opportunity to call your father and confirm it yourself," Warren offered smoothly.
He tossed his own cell phone onto the mattress right in front of her.
Trembling uncontrollably, Anya snatched the phone and dialed Luka's number as fast as her fingers would move.
The call connected so quickly it caught her off guard.
Through the speaker, Luka's sickeningly eager, fawning voice rang out.
"Mr. Warren, are you satisfied with the special gift I had delivered to your bed?"
Hearing her own father proudly refer to her as a 'gift' left for Mr. Warren, Anya felt a wave of suffocating despair wash over her.
"Dad, why would you do this?"
The realization hit her like a freight train: the men who had assaulted and abducted her off the street were sent by her own father.
Luka clearly hadn't expected to hear Anya's voice on the other end of Mr. Warren's phone.
His sycophantic tone vanished instantly, replaced by a harsh, impatient warning.
"You better serve Mr. Warren well. If you don't please him, don't ever bother showing your face around me again."
Anya screamed into the receiver.
"Luka Morales, have you completely lost your mind? Are you seriously throwing your own flesh and blood to the wolves?"
What Luka had done shattered everything Anya thought she knew about human decency.
This was worse than human trafficking—he was essentially selling his own daughter.
But Luka couldn't have cared less about how utterly destroyed Anya felt in that moment.
"As long as you carry the Morales name, you have an obligation to sacrifice for the survival of this family."
"Anya, this is your duty as a child of the Morales family. Enjoy the rest of your life."
With those final words, the line went dead.
What Anya didn't know was that this nightmare was entirely orchestrated by Andres White.
She had kicked up a massive storm online, arrogantly dragging Orca Group into the crossfire.
Naturally, Andres wasn't going to just sit back and take the hit.
He had ordered Hans to ruthlessly escalate their pressure on The Morales Group.
She yanked at the handle, only to find it hopelessly locked.
Warren chuckled, tapping his cane.
"This suite is equipped with a smart security system. Without my voice command, you won't be able to open that door."
Anya screamed at the top of her lungs, "Help! Somebody help me!"
Warren offered another helpful reminder.
"The room is entirely soundproof. You can scream until your voice gives out, but no one will hear a thing."
Anya frantically tried every possible way to escape, but every single attempt ended in failure.
Despair etched across her features, she turned to look at the billionaire.
"Why are you doing this to me?"
Leaning heavily on his cane, Warren took a slow, deliberate step toward her.
He smiled, revealing a mouthful of crooked, yellowing teeth.
"Because you are just so incredibly beautiful, my dear."
