Divorce Failed My Wife's Secret Identities Shock the World novel Chapter 618

At that exact moment, in a private suite at the Lumiere City International Clubhouse, Andres White sat with a deep scowl etched into his features.

"A last-minute meeting with Silver Fox?"

Sitting across from him was Ivan Perez, the government's chief coordinator for the summit.

Ivan had another title too—he was Andres's direct Red Gate liaison.

"That's right. The meeting was pushed to one-thirty this afternoon specifically to give you time to meet her."

"It's a sudden directive from the top regarding Project Skyward."

Ivan glanced at the wall clock.

"You meet in an hour. Room 1509. Your private suite here in the clubhouse."

Andres frowned, clearly not loving the abrupt change of plans.

"Red Gate protocols strictly prohibit agents from interacting outside of official channels."

"This sudden rendezvous feels entirely off-book. I don't understand the logic."

Ivan offered a reassuring smile.

"Don't overthink it. It's all about ensuring the success of Project Skyward."

"As you know, the final candidate list has already been locked in."

"But before we announce the roster, command wants one final, airtight security sweep of every individual."

"Silver Fox is an absolute legend in the cyber-intelligence world. They feel her final sign-off is non-negotiable."

Andres had heard the codename before.

But despite his own rank within Red Gate, whispers about Silver Fox were virtually non-existent.

It was almost as if she didn't exist.

Or rather, her identity was so deeply classified that the brass kept her completely shielded from the rest of the agency.

Hearing the mention of top-tier hackers instantly made Andres think of Maeve.

As the undisputed queen of the underground hacking world, he was convinced her skills easily rivaled—if not surpassed—this mysterious Silver Fox.

A thought suddenly struck Ivan.

"And the first name on that list is going to be Gotham's Cosmos Corporation."

"From what I hear, Nolan Nichols already has a massive target on your back."

Andres let out a low, dismissive chuckle.

"He's a clown. Barely worth my time."

"Don't underestimate them," Ivan warned. "The Nichols family's grip on Gotham is just as tight as the White family's hold on Aethelburg."

"It's always better to make enemies with smart men than petty fools. Nolan doesn't have a fraction of the vision his late brother, Nathan Nichols, had."

Andres's smile turned dangerous and thoroughly arrogant.

"If Nolan were half as brilliant as Nathan, I wouldn't go out of my way to cross him."

"Unfortunately for them, Nathan died young."

"With an idiot like Nolan running the show, Cosmos Group is already digging its own grave."
