Seeing Maeve standing outside, surprise flashed in Murray's eyes.
"Miss Vance?"
Maeve also hadn't expected to see a familiar face.
"Murray, what are you doing here?"
Murray didn't dare hide a single detail. "This is Mr. Andres's exclusive suite at the International Clubhouse."
At that moment, Andres's voice called out from inside.
"Murray, is it them?"
Maeve walked straight into the suite and approached Andres with a judging gaze.
Seeing Maeve appear, both Andres and Hans, who had been speaking in low voices, were stunned.
"Mae?"
"Miss Vance?"
Maeve looked down at Andres, who was sitting on the sofa.
"Whitty, didn't you say you had a client to meet?"
Andres nodded, still a bit slow to react.
"Yeah."
Maeve crossed her arms, a hint of amusement in her eyes.
"Meeting a client in a presidential suite with a king-size bed?"
The blunt, direct interrogation caught Andres completely off guard.
"Maeve, I think you're misunderstanding."
Maeve scoffed.
"We're all adults here. We both know exactly what's going on."
Hans couldn't help but explain.
"Miss Vance, I can swear on my life that Mr. White would never betray you."
Realizing things were looking bad, Murray frantically chimed in.
"I swear to God too! Even if the Boss wanted to cheat, he wouldn't have the guts."
The moment the words left his mouth, he was met with murderous glares from both Andres and Hans.
Murray realized that phrase was probably the wrong choice of words.
The dramatic twist sent Andres on a mental rollercoaster.
Just before she walked in, he was still wondering who this mysterious Silver Fox could be.
Never in a million years did he expect Red Gate's most elusive hacker to be the wife he shared a bed with every night.
His brain was a mess.
Just minutes ago, he had barely digested the fact that she was the Shadow Healer.
Before he could even process that massive secret, she had dropped another identity on him.
Silver Fox.
Ignoring the petrified Hans and Murray beside them, Andres mechanically reached out and shook her hand.
"I'm Pluto."
Maeve turned to a frozen Murray with a teasing smirk.
"Didn't you ask me at dinner last night for the name and address of the guy I hated?"
Maeve pointed at Andres across from her.
"Here he is. Target located."
