Andres gestured to Hans beside him.
"The list is finalized. Hand it out to the executives."
"Those on the list stay. Those not on the list leave immediately."
Hans distributed the printed lists to everyone in the room.
Those who saw their names felt overwhelming relief and joy.
Those whose names were omitted immediately cast questioning glares at Andres.
"Mr. White, can I get a reason for my disqualification?"
The one who spoke up was a middle-aged man with an honest-looking face.
He had scanned the list multiple times but couldn't find his name.
Andres glanced at him.
"Ah, Leo from Bayside City's Vanguard Group. Are you certain you want me to announce your disqualification reason in front of everyone?"
Leo looked loyal and honest on the surface, but he was anything but clean in the dark.
ZERO's hacking skills were truly unparalleled.
When Maeve dug into their backgrounds, every filthy deal hidden in the shadows had been excavated flawlessly.
But Leo was still entirely oblivious to his situation.
"I have always done business transparently. I have nothing to hide."
Andres replied, "Very well. Since you aren't worried about your image, I'll give you a satisfactory answer."
He casually tossed an investigation file across the table.
"Three years ago, you transferred a massive sum of money overseas under the guise of funding your daughter's education."
"The final investigation revealed that this money was funneled into a foreign research lab's pathogen project."
"Two years ago, a massive flu outbreak swept the country, and several corporations profited immensely. Vanguard Group was one of them, wasn't it?"
Ever since the news of James Shepherd's suicide broke,
anyone affiliated with the Shepherd family avoided them like the plague.
Andres scoffed.
"You don't need to explain yourself to me, and I have zero interest in your oaths."
"I am not a judge, so I have no authority to sentence you."
"As for whether you committed these atrocities, the relevant authorities will verify that with you once you walk out that door."
Andres gave a signal to Murray, who was guarding the door.
"Please escort Leo out."
The moment Murray dragged Leo away, Andres locked his gaze back onto Nolan.
"Mr. Nichols, should I have someone escort you out, or will you walk out yourself?"
