Divorce Failed My Wife's Secret Identities Shock the World novel Chapter 645

The meeting finally adjourned at six-thirty in the evening.

Before everyone dispersed, an official announced, "At eight o'clock, a lavish buffet of Eastern and Western cuisine will be served in the twelfth-floor dining hall. You are all welcome to join."

After being trapped in the conference room for hours, Andres's mind was already a million miles away.

He much preferred the comfort of going home to his woman for dinner.

The elites filed out of the room.

Mason Reed walked in stride beside Andres.

Mason was a few years older and carried himself with an imposing, dignified air. He gave Andres a polite nod. "Congratulations on a flawlessly executed summit, Mr. White."

"You're too kind, Mason," Andres replied smoothly.

After a brief pause, he asked, "Why didn't Titus Reed attend in person?"

Mason offered a wry smile. "The boss has been in a foul mood lately. He didn't want to deal with anyone, so he shoved the responsibility onto me."

Andres didn't reply, but it completely aligned with the rumors surrounding the notoriously unhinged Titus Reed.

Andres had navigated the cutthroat corporate world for years, crossing paths with the heads of countless conglomerates.

Yet, he had never laid eyes on Titus Reed, the enigmatic president of the Reed Group.

Years ago, the White family had engaged in a brief collaboration with the Reed Family. Even then, Mason had been the designated point of contact.

Rumor had it that only a handful of people had ever seen the true face of the Reed Group's president.

There were even whispers among elite circles that Titus Reed didn't actually exist—that he was merely a fabricated figurehead to maintain corporate stability.

To this day, no one knew what was true and what was myth.

After exchanging a few more pleasantries, Mason walked off with his assistant.

"I'll admit I played dirty to build my roster, and it pissed you off."

"But you hit back just as viciously, so I'd say we're even."

It was a testament to Andres's aristocratic restraint that he didn't roll his eyes. "At least you're self-aware enough to admit you're disgusting."

Benjamin laughed it off. "Let's leave the past in the past."

"I stopped you because I actually wanted to say thank you."

Andres raised an eyebrow. "Thank me for not kicking you out of Project Skyward?"

"You're a smart man," Benjamin grinned.

"I wanted to," Andres replied bluntly. "As the head of this project, partnering with a problematic businessman like you was the last thing on my list."
