Juniper scrolled down and saw the guest list. Just as she expected. Miranda's reputation was really something else; all the invited guests were A-listers that even someone like her, who didn't follow celebrities, recognized. So far, only the celebrity guest list had been announced, and the spots for non-celebrity participants were still up in the air. Juniper silently liked the post, deciding she would tune in to support the show when it aired.

Juniper stayed up all night watching over Ebony Fox, only breathing a sigh of relief when she finally woke up.
"Remember to take this medicine after breakfast." Juniper placed the small vial on the table and reminded Dana not to make anything too greasy.
"My break is over, so I have to go back to school," Juniper said, grabbing her backpack. "Harold will stay with you while I'm gone."
Although she could have taken more time off, she didn't want to cause trouble for Professor Tucker. Plenty of people were jealous of him and just waiting for an excuse to cause a scene.
"Don't worry, go to school. I'll be fine," Ebony Fox reassured her softly.
"Alright."
After giving her final instructions, Juniper grabbed her bag and left.

Eclara University.
Something urgent had come up at the company, so Juniper didn't have Shanley Schwartz drive her. Instead, she rode her electric scooter. The modified scooter looked unassuming, even a bit beat-up on the surface, but it packed a powerful punch, easily rivaling a sports car worth a small fortune. Just as she stabilized her scooter, a black Porsche pulled up right behind her, its driver’s poor skills nearly causing a collision.
Jerrold stood beside Yolanda, his eyes fixed on Juniper. After a few seconds, a sarcastic smirk touched his lips. So much for her big break. She was still just trash.
"Juniper, if you're having any trouble, you can tell me and Jerrold," Yolanda said, getting more animated as she flaunted her own happiness. "We'll definitely help if we can."
Jerrold's eyes never left Juniper, his gaze darkening. "It's no big deal. Don't be shy about asking." He used to think she was untouchable, with a famous actor for a brother and other powerful connections. But now, looking at her, she seemed worse off than a beggar on the street. The devious thoughts in Jerrold's mind began to stir again.
"Is that so?" After listening to the ridiculous couple's performance, Juniper yawned and said lazily, "Then lend me some money. Let's see how capable you really are."
They both froze. Seriously? Did she really have the nerve to ask?
