Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan) novel Chapter 3050

On July 16th, Emily and Charlie's engagement party goes ahead exactly as planned.

Hosted at one of the James family's own hotels, the event features a glittering banquet hall, a custom-built ten-foot Lego castle, and a sprawling garden filled with daisies.

The weather is gorgeous, with a gentle, perfect breeze.

By early morning, the hotel courtyard is packed with luxury cars. Impeccably dressed men and women stroll inside, offering their congratulations in a festive, buzzing atmosphere.

When Emily's college classmate, June Goodwin, arrives with a few others, they are instantly shell-shocked by the sheer extravagance.

June walks up to a staff member. "Is this Emily Sullivan's engagement party? Is anyone else getting engaged here today?"

The hotel is massive, easily capable of hosting multiple engagements or weddings in a single day.

Ultimately, none of them want to believe that the family Emily is marrying into has this kind of insane wealth and power.

The staff member replies politely, "Today is exclusively reserved for Ms. Sullivan and Mr. James's engagement. There are no other events. Are you friends of Ms. Sullivan?"

June and the others exchange shocked glances and nod blankly. "Yes, we were her classmates."

The staff member's tone becomes even more respectful. "Could I please see your invitations so I can register you?"

June smiles awkwardly. "I don't have an invitation. I just heard Emily was getting engaged and wanted to come show my support."

A look of surprise flashes across the staff member's face before returning to polite professionalism. "I apologize, but Mr. James has left strict instructions. No one is allowed entry without an invitation. I'm very sorry."

One of the other classmates nudges June. "Just call Emily. Tell her to come out and get us!"

The staff member's demeanor cools slightly. "I'm sorry, but Ms. Sullivan is extremely busy today and likely won't be able to answer her phone. If you don't have invitations, please step aside so you don't block the other guests from registering."

June and her friends step off to the side, pulling out their phones, only to realize that none of them actually have Emily's contact information.

Just as they are sulking and preparing to leave, they turn around and spot Jeanie Harper and Sarah Sawyer getting out of a car. June's eyes light up, and she hurries over.
