“You thought you were a player in this game? Let me show you what the Walter name really means in this city. I can keep you locked in this house for a decade and not a soul will ask a single question!”

Hudson stayed silent. He didn’t agree with the tactics, but he didn’t stop them.

Jade needed to cool off. She was being irrational.

If Bert taught her a lesson now, it would be easier for him to bring her home later once she was “humbled.”
