After several hours of travel, the group finally arrived at the campsite Vincent had chosen. Cale's assistant had already ensured that the area where they would be spending their time was safe. But just to be cautious, Cale secretly instructed several of his subordinates to keep watch over the surrounding area. The moment there was any suspicious movement nearby, they were to make sure the threat never reached the campsite.

As soon as the vehicle doors opened, the cool mountain air greeted them. A vast pine forest stretched into the distance, with rows of towering tree trunks standing as though guarding the area from the outside world. Not far from the campsite, a clear river flowed through the landscape. The sound of the water trickling was soothing, blending with the gentle rustling of the wind moving through the leaves.

“Of course you do,” Daven said dryly. He then walked over to the pile of items still inside the vehicle and started unloading them one by one.
