At this point, Dylan realized exactly what was going on.
He looked up, glancing at the woman beside him. "You are Cathy?"
Cathy stepped forward shyly. "Yes, Mr. Sinclair. I am your true fiancée."
"What makes you think you're qualified to be my fiancée?"
"I..." Cathy was momentarily stunned.
She hadn't expected Dylan to be so blunt.
"With a face like that? Are you not embarrassed? That face is plastic, isn't it?" Dylan pressed.
"I... I didn't! I... I haven't had surgery!" Cathy hurriedly denied.
Dylan let out a disdainful chuckle. "You haven't? Do you think I'm blind? You dare say you haven't taken a knife to your eyes, nose, and mouth? Did the hyaluronic acid leak into your brain? You don't look particularly bright. What gives you the right to be my fiancée?"
"I... Wah... Boohoo..." Cathy, completely humiliated, burst into tears.
She ran to her mother, Christine.
Christine looked at her with disappointment, whispering scoldingly, "I told you to cut back on the surgeries before, but you wouldn't listen. Now look!"
The crowd hadn't expected Dylan to be like this. They couldn't figure out his angle at all.
Dylan looked at the Matriarch again, issuing a deliberate warning.
"Old Mrs. Whelan, I'll put this plainly right now. Elena is the only fiancée I recognize. You all know what I've been through! If it weren't for Elena's family, there would be no Dylan Sinclair today."
"As for the matter of my fiancée, even if God himself came down, I wouldn't switch. If anyone dares to plot like this again, or makes my precious wife and in-laws suffer, I, Dylan Sinclair, will be the first to object!"
The Matriarch was startled. Dylan's aura exploded, and she knew he was genuinely angry.
