"If you think so, then it is. If you don't, then it isn't." Elena gave an ambiguous answer.
She neither admitted nor denied it.
This made it impossible for Bianca to guess.
It didn't feel like it could be her.
She was just a student! Even if she knew some people, it shouldn't be enough to shake the Maddox family to its core.
"Hi! Bianca, there you are. I've been looking everywhere for you." Henry suddenly arrived.
Seeing this, Elena said, "You two talk. I'm leaving."
Henry glanced at Elena, a trace of lingering affection in his eyes.
The first person he had liked was Elena, but she was aloof and hard to pursue.
No matter what he did for her, she remained unmoved.
Later, he settled for second best and pursued Bianca.
Ever since the incident on the ship, Bianca had been cold to him.
He knew he had embarrassed himself.
"Bianca, are you still mad at me?" Henry asked.
"No, you aren't worth it. Henry, I've made it very clear. We shouldn't see each other anymore!"
"Are you breaking up with me?"
"Henry, we were never together. I never told anyone you were my boyfriend, so where does 'breaking up' come from?"
Henry got angry. "Then what was all that before? The flowers I sent, our dates!"
Bianca laughed sarcastically. "At most, it was a flirtation. You never told anyone I was your girlfriend either! Henry, we both know the truth. You're still hung up on Elena, and I was just a rebound to pass the time. I was doing the same. So, let's not judge each other!"
Having said her piece, Bianca walked away without looking back.
She lived her life clearly and soberly. She knew exactly what she wanted.
