“No need. Let her do what she wants.” Elena finished speaking and hung up.
She had no beef with Jane. Jane was different from Cathy.
Elena saw no reason to go for the throat.

The Ellington Group.
After lunch, Theresa didn't return to her office for a break.
Instead, she quietly sneaked toward the cafeteria kitchen.
She was determined to find proof. If she poked around in the back, she was bound to find something.
Once she had evidence, she could report the cafeteria situation to her father.
She reached the kitchen entrance only to find the door shut—and locked!
She jiggled the handle, but it wouldn't budge.
Just then, she heard voices and approaching footsteps.
Panic surged through her.
“Move!” Logan appeared out of nowhere, grabbing her hand and pulling her into a hiding spot.
Theresa stared at him in confusion. “You... What are you doing here?”
“Shh...” Logan signaled for her to stay quiet.
The footsteps got closer, and two employees in chef uniforms walked by.
“It's the middle of the lunch break. Everyone's resting. Who'd come back here? Mr. Cooper is being way too paranoid.”
“Just check it. We'll take a quick look and leave. It's locked and we have the keys, so no one can get in anyway. But after what happened the other day, better safe than sorry.”
“Fine.”
The two men checked the lock, found nothing amiss, and walked away.
Once they were gone, Theresa and Logan stepped out from the shadows.
“Why are you here?” Theresa asked.
“I'm your bodyguard. Is it really that strange for me to be near you?”
Theresa didn't bother responding. She went up and rattled the lock again, realizing she really couldn't get in without a key.
“You trying to get inside?” Logan asked.
“Duh! How else am I supposed to find evidence?”
