"For someone in Lorna's social circle, LUMEN Studio obviously isn't considered expensive."
Lorna took off her bracelet. "Since you like it so much, you can have it!"
The female colleague was absolutely stunned!
"Are... are you serious? You're giving this to me?" She couldn't believe her incredible luck.
"Yeah, it's just a bracelet. I have plenty more at home. We're coworkers, just take it!"
"Thank you so much, Lorna! You're incredibly generous!"
The surrounding female colleagues were filled with envy. They deeply regretted not praising the bracelet more enthusiastically earlier; otherwise, it could have been theirs.
Another colleague asked curiously, "Lorna, how big is your house?"
"It's really not that big. We have a home theater, a swimming pool, a golf course, and a few other things. But compared to truly wealthy people, it's nothing!"
Upon hearing this, everyone's jaws dropped in astonishment.
"Oh my god! That's not big? You even have a movie theater!"
Lorna feigned surprise. "Don't you guys have those? Those are all pretty standard things, right?"
The crowd immediately felt embarrassed. The mindset of a rich heiress was clearly on a completely different level.
How could an ordinary family possibly afford those kinds of amenities?
"I have another question, Lorna. Is the chairman really your dad?" another coworker asked curiously.
Theresa perked up her ears. She also wanted to know exactly who Lorna was.
To have a home theater and a golf course at their house meant they had to be an elite wealthy family. Ordinary rich people couldn't afford that.
Paired with the halo of being the chairman's daughter, she had essentially become the darling of the sales department.
"But who's going to go buy the coffee?" Lorna glanced around the room.
Charles, always the ultimate kiss-ass, immediately looked at Theresa. "Lorna, how about her? She's just a gopher in our department anyway. She doesn't really do anything important."
Lorna looked over at Theresa. Ever since Theresa started, she hadn't spoken a single word to her.
While everyone else was busy kissing up to Lorna and trying to befriend her, Theresa acted as if she didn't exist, completely ignoring her.
Lorna had been annoyed with her for a long time!
"Alright then. Theresa Graham, I'll have to trouble you!" Lorna said.
Theresa stood up and replied, "I never agreed to it, so save your breath."
