Dylan was deeply moved by her words. He pulled Elena into a tight embrace.
"What more could a man ask for? I swear, I will never let you down."
Elena nodded. Then, Dylan leaned in, showering her lips with deep, passionate kisses.
The heat of his breath grazed her skin, stealing the oxygen from the room.
From this close, Elena could see the overwhelming love in his eyes, so intense it seemed to overflow.
"Hold on, let's go visit Sean!" Dylan suddenly suggested.
"Visit Sean?"
Elena was taken aback. Since when had Dylan become so understanding that he actively wanted to check on Sean?
"Aren't you jealous?"
"I'm not jealous. I'll support you in whatever you want to do. Sean got hurt because of you, so it's only right that we go see how he's holding up."
"Aren't you going to ask about my relationship with Sean?"
"No. Unless you decide to tell me, I won't ask."
It was a level of absolute, unparalleled trust.
Elena had considered explaining her dynamic with Sean, but knowing how sharp Dylan was, he had probably already figured most of it out.
There really wasn't much point in spelling it out.
"Alright, let's go see him."

Meanwhile.
Justin and Cathy had returned to their house.
Cathy instantly burst into manic laughter. "Hahaha! It's karma! That bitch finally got dumped! The engagement is off!"
"What did she have to be so cocky about? Everyone used to tiptoe around her just because of the Sinclairs, but now, she's absolutely nothing!"
Watching Cathy act so unhinged, Justin just wanted to retreat to his room for some peace and quiet.
Ever since they got married, Justin had been sleeping in a separate bedroom.
