"Ha! Elena, you backed me into a corner! When I tried to join you, you threw me out like trash! What else was I supposed to do but get my revenge?" Emily sneered.

"You're lying," Dylan interjected smoothly. "You never had any intention of joining Elena. You were acting strange this afternoon. Why refuse to leave when you had a golden ticket out? You used Elena's rejection as a cover to infiltrate the hospital disguised as a nurse so you could execute a hit on Miss Ellington!"

"Hahaha! Hahaha!" Emily burst into a manic, unhinged laugh.

"Tell me, why are you trying to kill Theresa?! Why!" Elena demanded fiercely.
