"Of course I do! You have nothing right now. You're just a butler's daughter. What else could I possibly be after?"

Lorna thought it over and agreed it made sense.

She quietly smuggled Charles into the Ellington Estate and brought him to her room.

"My room is right here, Charles. This part of the mansion is mostly the servants' quarters. The Chairman and the others never come down here. Usually, no one comes by except my dad when he checks on me. Since he's the head butler, I get the biggest room. What do you think? Isn't it pretty?" Lorna asked cheerfully.

Even though she was just the butler's daughter, she was treated almost like a lady of the house.

Her room featured its own walk-in closet, a private en-suite bathroom, and easily spanned over a thousand square feet!

Charles looked around. The room was nice, but at the end of the day, it was still just the servants' quarters.
