She Was the Treasure All Along novel Chapter 322

She parked the car and walked to the school gate, where a crowd of parents was already waiting for their children.

As the final bell rang, the gates opened, and students began pouring out.

Dressed in a polished, upper-crust style, with a red Lamborghini gleaming behind her, Loyce was impossible to miss.

Ignoring the stares, she used her sharp hearing to pick up on some of the gossip floating around. It wasn’t about her, but about the school’s ranking list.

“Did you hear? A girl on the junior year ranking list was reported for cheating.”

“What? How did they find out?”

“She used to be at the bottom of her class, and now suddenly she’s being considered for the Ace Class. Isn’t that ridiculous?”

“Where would she even get the answers to copy? I heard this exam was top-secret, designed to simulate the university entrance exam.”

“They say her backer is some rich young lady who had dinner with the principal and the Ace Class teachers to smooth things over. She probably paid them off and got the answer key.”

“No way, that’s insane!”

As they spoke, their eyes drifted unconsciously toward Loyce. She and her sports car were just too conspicuous. They had to be talking about her.

Loyce glanced down at her outfit and then at the car behind her, an eyebrow arching slightly. The look fit, the timing fit, and the whole thing lined up a little too neatly. It seemed she had, once again, caused trouble for Giselle.

Straightening up, Loyce walked against the flow of students and headed into the school, making her way to Giselle’s homeroom teacher’s office as if she knew the place by heart.

Earlier that morning, before Loyce’s evening arrival, the monthly exam results had been posted. Students crowded around the bulletin board to check the school-wide rankings. The list consisted of two sheets of paper, showing only the top one hundred students and the final list of those accepted into the Ace Class.
