Loyce looked up.
The corners of her lips slowly curled into an extremely faint, yet incredibly meaningful arc.
There wasn't a hint of reluctance or bitterness in that smile; instead, it carried the clarity of someone who saw through everything.
"Aunt Alicia, you've really thought of everything." Loyce's voice returned to its previous steadiness. "The 'Bloomberry' brand, targeting the teen market, full of vitality—that certainly sounds like a very interesting challenge."
Her gaze swept over Alicia and Edgar. Her eyes were so clear they seemed to reflect the scheming at the bottom of their hearts, making both of their chests tighten inexplicably.
"Since my aunt and uncle are looking out for me so much, it would be rude to decline." Loyce nodded slightly, her posture elegant, as if she were accepting a precious gift rather than stepping into a trap. "I'll take on 'Bloomberry.'"
As soon as she said this, Edgar and Alicia simultaneously breathed a sigh of relief, a trace of a victorious smile unconsciously slipping onto their faces.
Done! As long as they kicked Loyce out of the inner circle and stuffed her into that insignificant brand, then cooked up a few issues to sabotage her, her chances of ever laying a finger on Macrostar's core power would be as hard as climbing to heaven!
However, Loyce's next words made their smiles freeze slightly.
"But," Loyce pivoted, her tone still peaceful but carrying an undeniable weight, "since I am officially taking over the brand, then 'Bloomberry's' ownership, management rights, personnel appointment rights, and financial approval rights from this moment onward naturally need to be handed over to me as well. This includes all brand-related accounts, contracts, supplier files, client lists... I imagine these are basic business protocols, right, Uncle Edgar? Aunt Alicia?"
Loyce shot a calm gaze at the two of them, as if confirming something that was a given.
Edgar's heart skipped a beat. He hadn't expected a little girl to be so well-versed in business procedures. Of course, he didn't want to hand over any real power; he just wanted to give her the title of a hollowed-out shell of a brand.
But then Edgar reconsidered. The teen brand 'Bloomberry' was on the verge of bankruptcy due to poor management anyway. Even if he gave it to her, it wouldn't matter.
