Ms. Walker, the Head of Administration, came up to her and said, "Originally, Élégance was helping us with promotions. Last night, they directly pulled all the collaborative products we had with them, and the advertisers have all withdrawn their funding. I don't know what to do anymore. There wasn't much money in the company's general account to begin with, and now that you've driven everyone away, we don't even know where the employees' paychecks are going to come from next month."
Loyce wasn't worried. She simply handed the Head of Administration a bank card: "I'm here today to make a new investment. These are my funds. Deposit it all into the company account."
Ms. Walker took it and asked cautiously, "How much is it? I'm afraid it won't be enough to cover payroll and other expenses."
"$500 million," Loyce said calmly.
Ms. Walker froze: "H-how much?"
"$500 million," Loyce repeated.
An employee nearby who was getting a drink of water was so shocked they accidentally dropped their cup.
Every employee who heard this news had only one thought in mind: This rich, clueless heiress was about to lose every single penny!
Loyce asked, "Is there a problem?"
Ms. Walker gripped the bank card: "N-no, none at all. I'll go find accounting to deposit this right away."
After Ms. Walker left, a junior employee from the design department finally walked up to Loyce and whispered, "You're definitely going to lose this money. Bloomberry is just an ATM for the Seabrook family; it doesn't actually make a profit. Most of the time, our salaries are paid out of Élégance's financial accounts. You need to be careful, or this money will be siphoned away."
Loyce smiled: "Except for me, no one can siphon it away."
Alicia Seabrook had personally handed over all of Bloomberry's files to her, which naturally included the financial accounts. Loyce had already patched all the loopholes. This money could only go in; when it came out was entirely up to her.
Loyce walked over to Giselle Turner's desk and found that the young girl had filled an entire trash can with draft paper. The only things left on the desk were four sets of colorless line sketches.
She looked down. Even though they were just line art, the unique designs instantly caught her eye. "These look great. What colors are you planning to use?"
Giselle shook her head, dark circles hanging under her eyes: "I came up with these four outfits in one night. I want to use the four seasons as a theme, but I don't know how to make them cohesive and stunning enough to wow the crowd."
Loyce looked thoughtful: "It's actually quite simple."
Giselle tilted her head to look at her.
Loyce said, "If you can't imagine it, go see it. You can go anywhere you want in the world. The company will cover the expenses."
