She Was the Treasure All Along novel Chapter 561

Forrest noticed the subtle shift in Sybil's expression. The fleeting spark of excitement in her eyes was an absolute eyesore.

Gripping Loyce by the shoulders, he steered her into the private VIP booth and asked Mr. Johnson to open the gift box.

Inside the box lay nothing but a bed of decorative raffia and a small memory card. Mr. Johnson picked it up, looking thoroughly confused. "The person who dropped this off claimed it was a priceless treasure. Why is it a memory card? It looks like it belongs in a camera."

Loyce shifted slightly, but Forrest was faster. He snatched the memory card from Mr. Johnson's fingers and dropped it straight into his freshly poured, scalding hot coffee.

Mr. Johnson let out a startled sound. Taking one look at Forrest's dark, thunderous expression, the shrewd businessman immediately realized this was bad news. He quickly swapped out the ruined coffee for a fresh one. "Looks like someone was trying to pull one over on me. I'll have my security team investigate this right away."

"No need," Forrest said coldly. "Just kick that Crown Dining kid and his date out of here."

Mr. Johnson complied without hesitation. He even had his staff set up a sign at the entrance of the equestrian center that read: *Thane and Dogs Not Allowed.*

Through the expansive curved windows of the top-floor booth, they watched as a squad of security guards approached Thane and Sybil, unceremoniously tossing them out in front of the entire elite crowd.

Thane had never suffered such a humiliating blow. His face turned a deep, furious crimson, and he nearly got into a fistfight with the guards. The only thing that stopped the chaotic scene was him accidentally knocking Sybil to the ground in the scuffle.

By the time the two of them stumbled outside, utterly disgraced, Sybil caught sight of the newly erected sign and nearly fainted from sheer rage.

Forrest's large hand gently patted Loyce's back. "It's handled. Now, tell Mr. Johnson why you came today."

Loyce, well-prepared, handed over her contract and business proposal. "Bloomberry primarily focuses on youth fashion, but we're looking to expand our line to include premium sportswear. Your equestrian club is the most prestigious in the region, with a global reputation. I want to partner with you."

Before she could even finish, Mr. Johnson pulled a sleek fountain pen from his breast pocket. "Absolutely. Where do I sign?"

Loyce blinked in surprise. "I haven't even gone over the profit margins or my strategic plans yet."

Mr. Johnson glanced at Forrest and chuckled. "The Lonsdale family breeds exceptional individuals. I heard how you risked your life in those mines to save Mr. Lonsdale. With that kind of courage, I know you'll succeed in whatever you do."

The partnership was finalized effortlessly.
