Sorry for Your Loss It's Me I'm the Loss novel Chapter 917

The elevator descended and stopped at the next floor. As the doors slowly opened, Thomas was standing right outside.

Thomas saw Bennett in the elevator holding Yvonne in his arms. He paused for a moment before stepping inside.

“Going out so late, cousin?” Bennett asked, looking at Thomas.

“Couldn't sleep, so I'm going out for some fresh air,” Thomas replied, his gaze sweeping over Yvonne.

Yvonne was nestled in Bennett's arms, only half of her fair, radiant face visible. Her thick lashes cast faint shadows on her cheeks.

She was very still, as if asleep.

“Coming back from the terrace?” Thomas asked.

“Yeah. Yvonne wanted to see the stars, but she fell asleep,” Bennett had just replied when the elevator stopped at their floor.

The doors opened, and Bennett stepped out, still carrying Yvonne.

The Thompson Group's retreat lasted a week, after which everyone began to depart in succession.

Bennett and Yvonne boarded the cruise ship in the morning. They weren't in a hurry to return, instead spending the entire day sailing on the sea.

Bennett had also prepared a set of fishing gear and was fishing from the boat, looking every bit the part.

Yvonne sat with Bennett on the deck as he fished. She wasn't interested in fishing; she wanted to see dolphins.

Dolphins occasionally appeared in these waters, but seeing them was purely a matter of luck.

Yvonne's luck wasn't great, so she didn't see any.

It was already evening when the cruise ship docked.
