“Pandora, why don’t we let Claire commute from here? I’ll drop her off and pick her up every day.”
“Don’t worry, it won’t interfere with her studies.”
“By the way, is Claire also a senior, like Cindy?”
“Yes, Edison, she is.” Claire was heading back to school tomorrow.
Her break had started with the New Year’s holiday, but after that whole mess with the real and fake heiress drama, she’d ended up taking a couple extra days off.
Tomorrow was the perfect time to go back and clear her leave.
She was a senior after all, and her teachers wouldn’t let her take endless time off.
“Alright, it’s settled. You’ll stay here with me.”
Pandora turned to Claire. “Claire, which school do you go to? Is it far from here?”
“I’m at Silverpeak International College.”
Claire’s school was nestled up on a mountain, a private school where everyone either had money or influence.
After graduation, about half the students went abroad.
Tuition was three hundred thousand a year.
When it came to Claire’s education, the James family never cut corners.
Lance had graduated from Silverpeak too.
The best part about Silverpeak was the connections. You’d meet heirs to big companies and kids from powerful families.
It wasn’t just a school. It was a place where the next generation built their networks.
That’s why so many parents, even the ones who were just middle-class, would do anything to get their kids in.
Some parents even sent their daughters there with hopes of them finding a shortcut to a better life.
But that’s another story.
Pandora didn’t really know much about the school.
Edison, though, did.
