The Heartless Alpha’s Beloved Luna (Avery and Gideon) novel Chapter 414

“But I.. I was saving myself for marriage,” I muttered.

Katya laughed. “That’s sweet, darling, but men like this don’t respond to that sort of thing. You have to take him by the reins and show him what you can do.”

“How do you know any of this?” I asked.

“I just do. I’ve had enough experience with men to know how they work.” She looked me over in that same assessing way she had at dinner. “You’re a beautiful girl.

You know that. But beauty alone doesn’t do much if you don’t know how to use it.”

I opened my mouth to reply, then stopped. She was right, and I hated that she was right, and it was making me blush like a fool.

“Why do you look so frightened?” she asked. “It’s just sex.

You intend to marry him, anyway.”

“It’s just that… I’ve never actually…” I stared down at my plate. “‘ve never done any of that. I’m a virgin.”

“That doesn’t need to stop you.”

“But I don’t even know how to seduce a man enough to want him to sleep with me. Especially not when he already has eyes for another.”

Katya sighed softly. “Well, there are other methods, you know.”I looked up. She had picked up a spare wine glass and the bottle, and filled the glass partway. She slid the glass across the table to me.

I took it.

“There’s a plant,” she started. “You’ve probably never heard of it. But when prepared properly, it works as a very potent aphrodisiac. A few drops in a drink, and whoever consumes it becomes… let’s just say, very receptive.”

I choked on my wine. “You’re saying I should drug him?”
