The IVF Secret That Shook a Dynasty novel Chapter 600

The two older women clasped hands, practically radiating excitement and warmth, as if they were long-lost friends rather than two people meeting for the very first time.

Vivica followed closely behind, catching up after a few steps.

Right behind her were Cheryl and Raymond. Once everyone had stopped, Vivica immediately made introductions. "This is my aunt Cheryl, and her son, Raymond."

Cheryl extended a hand at once. "Hello, it's so nice to meet you. Thank you for having us."

Raymond bowed slightly in respect. "Mrs. Baird." He then looked toward Sheridan and bowed again. "Mr. Baird."

Sheridan smiled warmly, waving a hand to brush off the formality. "Please, no need to be so formal. Treat this place like your own home. Make yourselves comfortable."

Joseph strolled up at a leisurely pace, the last to join the group. He came to stand beside Vivica, wordlessly slipping his hand into hers and giving it a reassuring squeeze.

Vivica looked back at him, and they shared a knowing smile.

Without needing to say a single word, they both completely understood what the other was feeling.

—They were thrilled and incredibly satisfied with how perfectly this was going.

The adults were so caught up in exchanging pleasantries in the courtyard that they entirely forgot about three-year-old Chaim.

It wasn't until the little boy wandered out of the living room and shouted from a distance, "What are you all doing out here? Wow, Grandma, Grandaunt, and Uncle Raymond are here!"

The little guy remembered exactly what to call everyone. His bright, crisp voice, filled with surprise and joy, effortlessly interrupted the adults' formal greetings.

Everyone turned to look at him, their faces breaking into massive smiles.

"Chaim! Oh my, we completely forgot about our little Chaim," the adults chuckled fondly.

Joseph turned and walked over to his son, scooping him up into his arms. "Grandma, Grandaunt, and Uncle Raymond are here to visit our home. Are we welcoming them?"

Chaim enthusiastically clapped his hands. "Of course they're welcome! That makes me the little host today."

"That's right, Chaim is our little host. You have to make sure Grandma and everyone else is taken good care of," Melanie chimed in, showering her eldest grandson with encouragement and praise.
