The Mocked Miss’s Hidden Crowns novel Chapter 1310

“Charlotte, I’m sorry. I should have known about you sooner.” G5’s eyes were red, her voice heavy with guilt.

If she’d found out earlier, Charlotte would have had the antidote long ago.

“It’s alright.” Charlotte gave her a gentle, polite smile. “You did everything you could. My grandmother would have thanked you, really.”

No matter what happened in between, the only thing that mattered was that the antidote had finally made it back to her.

“That’s enough.” Allanson sipped his tea, looking calm and unbothered. “You’ve met her. The antidote is real. Now, let’s get down to business.”

“How do you want to talk?” Franco didn’t even let Charlotte respond. He jumped to his feet, fury written all over his face as he glared at Allanson. “Is it Solenia you want? N Organization? Or maybe you’re after our lives? Come on, just say it. What do you want?” His anger only grew, his expression turning dark. “You’re old, yet you never stop stirring up trouble. What’s the point? Is this all just to buy yourself a few extra years?”

Charlotte and Anthony both fell silent. Wasn’t he the one who said to stay calm? Turns out, he was the first to lose it.

Around the hall, the other factions exchanged uneasy glances, then all looked at Allanson. After all these years, Franco was still as bold as ever.

“Brat!” Allanson, face pale with rage, grabbed his teacup and hurled it at Franco. “This isn’t your place to speak.”

He didn’t need to say it—he wanted Lottie to talk.

“So, you want to talk to me?” Charlotte shifted in her seat, tilting her chin up. There was a lazy defiance in her eyes. “Maybe you should take your meds first. I’m pretty sure I can get under your skin even more than my dad does.”

Everyone else just stared. They’d heard Charlotte was wild and didn’t respect anyone. Seeing her now, the rumors felt spot-on.
