The Prison-Made Queen novel Chapter 240

Micah's eyes went cold, his hand clenching into a fist until his knuckles turned white.

Having said her piece, Leilani turned and walked away without giving him another glance. She had left him fuming, his face a mask of rage. But quickly, the malice in his eyes shifted into a perverse amusement.

Seeing her walking toward the exit, Micah slowly raised a hand and signaled the bodyguard beside him. "Give the stuff to her."

Just as Leilani reached the door, a burly bodyguard suddenly blocked her path and shoved a heavy luxury shopping bag into her hands without a word.

Leilani frowned, instinctively trying to push it back. "I don't want this!"

But the bodyguard was faster. He forced the bag into her grip, then turned and bolted as if he were being chased by wolves.

Leilani stood there, speechless. She looked down. The bag was filled with purses—latest season releases from a top luxury brand, each likely costing a small fortune.

When she looked back up, Micah had returned to his carefree, roguish demeanor. He smirked, looking thoroughly pleased with himself. "A meeting gift. No need to thank me."

It was practically forced upon her. Leilani glared at him. "Micah, are you twelve?"

Micah shrugged. "So what if I am? I do what I want."

"Besides," he narrowed his eyes, his tone suggestive, "Callahan's face is going to look priceless when he finds out you accepted a gift from me."

Leilani was almost impressed by his twisted logic. She lifted the bag and held it out toward him. "Take it back!"

Micah kept his hands in his pockets. Instead of taking it, he took a step back, his grin widening annoyingly.

"I never take back a gift I've given. Throw it away if you don't like it. But..." He paused for effect. "Callahan will find out eventually."
