The Prison-Made Queen novel Chapter 303

Tamara looked like death warmed over, staggering back two steps. "No... that's impossible... I never said those things to you. You must have forged that recording!"

Yvonne shouted angrily, furious at Tamara's stubbornness and ability to invert the truth. "Tamara, even now you're still lying. You really won't give up until the bitter end!"

She turned to address the guests, her voice clear and unwavering. "For these past four years, although I had amnesia, I subconsciously felt something was wrong. That's why I was so resistant to interacting with her after I regained consciousness. A few days ago, I went out shopping with a friend and was suddenly in a car accident."

She paused, staring sharply at Tamara.

"Tamara, you probably didn't expect that the car accident you carefully planned would actually help me fully recover my memory and remember the entire truth!"

Tamara's face was ashen. "You're lying! I've been busy with the wedding for the past few days. Gloria has seen it all. I've been running around in circles preparing; how could I have time to harm you?"

Milford's expression grew complex as he recalled that Tamara had indeed been busy with wedding-related matters during the time leading up to Yvonne's accident. She had been in and out of the Sherwood home every day. If she really was behind Yvonne's accident, then her mind was terrifyingly meticulous and vicious.

Milford stood frozen, looking at Tamara's still gentle and elegant face, suddenly feeling a chill run through him.

Although Yvonne didn't have direct evidence right now, she was certain Tamara couldn't wash her hands of this. She spoke with absolute conviction. "I've been in a sanatorium for four years. I have no enemies other than you. You saw that I had recovered physically and left the facility, and you were afraid I'd regain my memories. So, you decided to strike first. But you never imagined that your plan would backfire. Your attempt to harm me ended up restoring my memory."

"This is karma, Tamara. You wanted to kill me so you could marry into the Sherwood family and live as a high-society wife? Keep dreaming! I will never let you get what you want!"
