Leilani glanced indifferently at Tamara and spoke calmly. "Forget it. The show is about to start, and we came here to enjoy the performance, not to waste time on petty people."
Her words were light, but they slapped Tamara harder than a physical blow. She had always viewed Leilani as a thorn in her side. To be dismissed so casually by her was worse than death.
Tamara trembled, lifting her head to glare at Leilani with bloodshot eyes, looking almost frightening.
Afraid Tamara might cause another scene, Mr. Watson quickly interjected. "Ms. Fulton, Ms. Sloan, please calm down. I'll escort them out immediately!"
He signaled the security guards to remove Tamara and Carola. The guards escorted the two women out of Box 1. To prevent them from causing more trouble, he stationed two guards on either side of Leilani's door.
Watching the instigators leave, Mr. Watson finally let his temper show. But since Tamara was Clive's sister, he couldn't be too harsh. He suppressed his rage and walked away with a dark expression.
In the backstage hallway, Mr. Watson dropped the friendly act he had put on for Judie. He pointed a finger at Luke, Clive's agent, and yelled, "Luke, what is wrong with you? Do you have any idea who that Ms. Fulton is? That's the daughter of the Fulton Group, the main sponsor! If we offend the money, what do you think happens to us?"
Luke looked miserable. "Mr. Watson, I didn't know this would happen..."
He hadn't expected Tamara and Carola to be so impulsive, storming into someone else's box without proof.
Judie waved her hand dismissively. It wasn't a secret. "Oh, that. The sponsor behind Clive's concert is my dad. Since I've been bored at home lately, he gave me the ticket for this box."
"Box 1 is reserved for sponsors, but since sponsors rarely actually come to these things, they usually issue blank invitations so we can give them as gifts. I knew Clive and you didn't get along, so when I decided to come, I filled in your name just to annoy him. I didn't expect it to actually come in handy like this."
Hearing the explanation, Leilani found it both funny and exasperating.
Yvonne, however, looked worried. "Judie, won't this cause trouble for Leilani?"
