The Prison-Made Queen novel Chapter 375

Leilani smiled faintly and didn't say anything, simply watching the stage quietly.

Elsewhere in the venue, Tamara and Carola were flushed with excitement, waving their glow sticks and screaming along with the fans.

Tamara looked at the radiant Clive on stage, her heart swelling with pride. That was her brother! Who was Leilani? She wasn't even fit to be mentioned in the same breath.

...

The concert soon reached the intermission interaction segment. Clive wiped the sweat from his forehead, flashed his signature smile, and followed the prepared script. "Next, I'm going to pick a lucky fan to come on stage and sing a song with me!"

The arena exploded with noise as fans frantically raised their hands, hoping to be chosen.

The big screen began to cycle through seat numbers randomly. Finally, it stopped. The camera cut instantly to Box 1.

Clive's brilliant smile froze the moment he saw Leilani on the screen. His pupils contracted, and he blurted out, "Why is it you?"

The disgust in his tone was undisguised.

The audience was in an uproar. What was going on? Did Clive know this girl? They didn't look like they were on good terms. Was she an ex-girlfriend?

Clive quickly realized he had lost his composure. His face darkened as he looked away, speaking coldly toward the director's booth. "Pick someone else."

The director and Luke were stunned. They hadn't expected Clive to be so obvious about it. In front of so many people, he should have at least pretended to be polite.

But Clive's attitude was firm, and they didn't dare disobey. The screen started rolling again. Eventually, the camera landed on Tamara's seat.
